Santa Claus Village
A Lapland holiday will never be complete without visiting its most popular resident: Santa Claus.
Santa Claus Village is an amusement park known to be the home of that jolly kind old man. Every year, visitors from the United Kingdom, Japan, China, France, and other countries gather in this place to meet Santa.
You can go inside Santa's Office to chat and take photographs of him. There is also a post office where Santa-related mails are sent and stamped with a special postmark.
Snow Castle of Kemi
The Snow Castle of Kemi is considered the world's largest snow castle. It is covers an area of up to 13,000 to 20,000 square meters and has a tower measuring over 20 meters in height.
This big igloo also features interesting facilities such as a chapel and a restaurant where everything is made from ice. There is also a Snow Hotel where guests can opt to stay overnight.
